Hi Alli-

Thanks for the info. A couple weeks ago I finally got a Treo Pro (from Second Rotation on eBay- sweet deal almost new plus spare batt and cradle for $350) and my company has finally switched from Lotus to Outlook, so now I've connected to Exchange for email and local sync for all else. I really do like the tethering, WiFi, GPS (a little slow) and other stuff but I'm still 'moving in'. Goodbye Palm OS! I still need to migrate my passwords from Passwords Plus to I think SPB Wallet, or possibly SplashID. pTunes is an improvement, once I found the WM menus for it.
Cheers!

I have been a staunch Palm follower since these last 10 years. I always believed in my PDA (it is now a Lifedrive). It seems we are going the 'smart phone' way and also WM way as on our PC.
Your article has given me more courage to consider seriously this changeover. But really having a PDA and Mobile in 'one piece' restricts my choice to have a mobile the way I want - at the moment I have a Porche design.
well done!!

Having come to the effective end of life on my beloved Treo 650 I am now staring at all the windows mobile devices out there since Palm has yet to release a product which can adequately replace and upgrade my device. I'm grateful for your write up here. It has helped ease my fears somewhat in view of the pending switch to HTC.
